Who’s on your card?
The people you’d want reached in an emergency. First names are enough.

Setting up a card requires verifying your own mobile number. At the “Your phone number” step above, a separate checkbox appears below the number field. It is unchecked by default, and no text is sent until you tick it. The checkbox reads:
☐ “I agree to receive text messages from PhoneLess at this number, including a verification code now and security alerts when my card is opened, someone enters a wrong PIN, or my card locks. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. See our Terms and Privacy Policy.”
PhoneLess texts only the number you verify, and only about your own card. We never send marketing texts, and we do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to stop texts, START to resume, or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
